One Church... One Mission... Three Expressions
Calvary Baptist Church is growing and we will soon be meeting in multiple locations across our Community. Our central campus is located at 2101 Overlook Drive in Winter Haven, Florida, with an additional campus coming soon to the community of Alturas, Florida. We also have a Spanish-speaking congregation, Iglesia Del Calvario, which meets on Sundays at our Winter Haven Campus upstairs in our Youth Worship Suite. Though we gather in different places, we are one church, united in the gospel and in our mission of "making and maturing disciples of Jesus in Polk County and beyond".

What We Do
We are also a people who serve. Jesus came not to be served, but to serve, and that shapes how we live. We care for one another inside our church family, but we also extend that love out to our community and into those who may not yet know Christ.
Where We're Sent
Finally, we are a people sent on mission. We believe the Holy Spirit has sent us on mission to make and mature disciples of Jesus in Polk County Florida and beyond. That's what drives everything we do. Here at Calvary, you will find a ministry for every stage of life. There is place for you and your family to connect.
What to expect on Sundays
Come and experience Calvary Life for yourself.
At our Winter Haven campus on Sundays, we like to start things off with a cup of coffee and pastries in our coffee bar, Table & Story. This begins at 9:00 am followed by bible study groups for all ages at 9:45 am. At 11:00 am, we come together for our victorious worship gathering located in our main worship center. During this time, we sing songs of praise, listen to a message from God's Word, pray for one another and our nation, and celebrate life together as the body of Christ. We also have both bible study and worship in Spanish!

Throughout September, our GET SMART series will take us into the Psalms to uncover practical clues for living wisely and faithfully in the real world. Together, we will discover how to respond when life seems unfair, where true riches are found, why our days matter, and how God's wisdom shapes the way we live.
